The Collection Winemaker Dinner

You’re invited to Mount Veeder for a memorable evening hosted by Museum Director, Rob Ceballos, and Winemaker, Stephanie Pope. We will be serving an intimate dinner inspired by and set in the iconic Hess Art Collection. Created by Executive Chef Chad Hendrickson, each dish will be paired with a limited production wine, including The Lion Cabernet Sauvignon.

Appetizers and cocktails

1st Course

Togarashi seared big eye tuna with blood orange & fennel salad and miso & pickled ginger vinaigrette

Paired with 2021 The Lioness Chardonnay

2nd Course

Roasted King Salmon with bacon stewed black lentils, wild mushrooms and a roasted shallot purée

Paired with 2018 Small Block Collectors Cuvée

3rd Course

Braised short ribs with celery root purée, sautéed winter greens, and horseradish garnish

Paired with 2019 The Lion Cabernet Sauvignon

Paired with newly released 2021 Lion Tamer Reserve Red Blend
