Hess Family White

Hess Family White

Sourced from legendary Napa vineyards notable in their own right. The Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper vineyard from Oakville is the backbone of the blend, a vineyard first planted in 1877 to grapes, prunes and walnuts, typical of the time.
About

“Intense aromas of anise, violets, brooding black fruit and toasty cedar with chocolate mocha are joined by flavors of sweet black fruits on the mid-palate, finely grained tannins and a long, lingering finish. The richness of the Napa Valley floor comes through, balanced by the distinct fruit from Napa’s eastern hillsides. It’s a wine worthy of the Reserve title, one to enjoy today, or to lie down and enjoy in 2020 or beyond.”

-Dave Guffy, Director of Winemaking
