What is weather-appropriate attire for a visit?
Weather at the winery can be unpredictable and subject to change quickly. In the Spring and Summer expect cool mornings and hot afternoons – long-sleeves and sun protection are encouraged. In Fall and Winter it’s often cool and damp – bring a sweater! A pair of sturdy, comfortable walking shoes are ideal any time of year.
Can I come for a tasting without a reservation?
No, reservations are required for all wine tasting Experiences and visitation to the Art Museum.
Why don’t I see any reservations available for my desired date/time?
If you don’t see availability for your preferred date/time it means that we are likely booked. We invite you to add yourself to our waiting list for that day and we will call you in the event of a cancellation.
What is your maximum group size?
We offer our daily experiences for a maximum group size of 4 guests. If you would like to enquire about hosting for larger groups, please contact us.
Why do you use pre-paid reservations instead of regular reservations?
At Hess Persson Estates, we want to create an intimate environment for our guests. Pre-paid reservations allow us to prepare for your visit and give you an all-encompassing experience with your host.
Do you offer accommodations for non-drinking guests?
We offer a $10 discount on any of our tasting experiences for guests that will not be drinking wine. If you make a reservation online for a non-drinking guest, you are welcome to reach out to us for this discount refund.
Can your culinary team accommodate a food allergy?
Our kitchen cannot customize plates to accommodate individual allergies. If you let us know about food allergies beforehand, we will let you know which dishes are safe to eat.
Are pets allowed at the winery?
Only trained service dogs are allowed at the winery. Emotional Support Animals are not covered under the ADA.
Are children allowed at the winery?
No, all guests must be 21 years of age or older.
Are picnicking or outside food or drink allowed on the property?
No, we ask you to refrain from bringing outside food or drinks.
Can I visit the Museum without a reservation or wine tasting?
The museum is available for self-guided tours by reservation. There is no cost for this visit. To reserve, please contact us.
